On October 30, 2011 in Mesa, AZ around 11:30 AM, I was outside on my porch drinking my cup of coffee and I was just casually looking around in the sky while sitting in my lawn chair. Then to the right of me (northwest) I observed a small group of 4 balloons that somebody or something (probably accidentally) had just released in the sky. It had an interesting formation: two bright neon orange color balloons on top floating, and two dark black color balloons appearing as dead weight which mostly stayed towards the bottom of the group of balloons. I thought that was an interesting formation and colors, so I took some pictures of them. The two orange balloons were floating and pulling outwards like a "V" while the two black balloons were pretty much almost clinging to each other like dead weight balloons. Nothing really odd about them traversing towards me: it was seen in the northwest while it quickly traversed somewhat south and at a low altitude. The wind at that time appeared to be blowing directly from the west.

I was about to fall asleep, when I heard a couple of thumps come from my wall and ceiling. I thought it was nothing, but something urged me to look out my window. I saw a very bright star in a place that it had never been before. I grabbed my glasses to see the star a bit more clearly. It sure was a very bright star, and not only that but I could manage to see a faint diagonal cross (X) behind it. The more I looked at it the more it started moving. At first I thought it was just a star, but after seeing it move I thought it was and airplane or a helicopter, but it couldn't have been either because of the way it was hovering at first.

It was a triangle object, huge, with lights on each point of the triangle shape. Thin line of flashing colored lights on the underbelly. As it passed over, it made a rushing wind like sound as it passed over; no loud roaring.

I saw what I thought at first was a zeppelin, when I noticed how smoothly, and high it was flying.

My family and I were sky-watching at the end of a birthday party. Unfortunately, the sky was somewhat overcast; it remained too light to see many stars, and we never did see the moon. As we were wrapping up and putting chairs away, a bright light suddenly caught my eye...

Around 11 PM I went into my back yard to have a smoke. I noticed a strange light comming from the south it was moving my direction (North) and a little east from me.It kept getting bigger and brighter and I couldnt really tell if it was orange, yellow or white. It kind of did a pulse and the shades of it changed a bit. I knew something was extremely odd.

I was coming home after work, headed down Hightower Trail into Gwinnett County, Georgia. Towards Centerville. We had thunderstorms that evening and the front was just pushing through so the sky was beginning to clear.

We were having a family & friends get together to celebrate a birthday. During the celebration two of my nephews and a niece came tearing into the house, screaming at the top of their lungs, saying that a plane crashed in one of the adjacent pastures. My Brother, myself and about 3 others walked outside to see what was causing all the ruckus.

First I am a pilot and have built and flown a few of my own planes and understand stall speed and what it takes to be airborne. This craft was in the hovering mode, and going aprox, 35 mph. Altitude could be judged, as it was slightly north and we had the old tower the adjoins the harbor where we were anchored to measure by.

I went fishing off a bridge in the upper keys with a friend. We decided to leave the fishing spot to return home. This was around 2:00 AM.

We were having a fire on Kealia Beac. The full moon had just risen, it had been up for maybe 45 min to an hour. Orion was huge and to the right of the moon. Off to the left of Orion's head star, I saw a bright light for just a second then it dissapeared. I thought, "What was that?" then dismissed it.

While cruising near Crete (during my navy service), the bridge crew was surprised to see a light on the horizon, since the radar guys hadn't called to report it. Upon looking at it with binoculars, we saw what looked like a shining dome rise from the sea just on the horizon.

I went out on my deck, which overlooks 1+ acres of woods in suburb of Burnsville, off Burnsville Pkwy and City Road 5 at about midnight. Between the treetops and above, clear sky view, I spotted 2 large orbs of white light, rapidly circling each other in a large circle, about the size of a football field. The sky was completely covered by dense clouds and the light circles were quite visible.They never wavered from their distance from each other, but did move sideways from time to time.It resembled a planet with an orbiting planet....not an irregular path.

I was driving home from the town of Lake Elsinore. Turned up Country Club Drive from Lakeshore Drive toward Eastern Hills. We have a lot of air traffic here because of near-by airport/sky-diving, hang-gliding, balloonists, private planes, military planes and copters etc., activities so, I'm very aware of what's in our sky.

The triangle just passed over Belmont, North Carolina at around 9:00 PM on the 28th day of November 2009. I was out walking the dog when I looked up and saw white lights in the form of a V coming my way and pass overhead at an alarming increase of speed from North to South. Only four white lights were visible three uniform and one extra between the front and starboard “wing” side, it was amazing to see. It went over so fast I didn’t even have time to say to myself, “I wish I had my camcorder” before it zipped out of sight over my head and before I could swing my body around to match the direction of my eyes, and there was no noise coming from it. It was truly a fascinating watch.

Was at home on my acreage just outside of Irricana, Alberta, Canada (45 minute drive Northeast of Calgary) on the phone to a friend & noticed a bright white dot in the sky Southwest of me. I asked the friend (who was located 30km Southeast me at the time) to look out the window & see if she saw it too. She could not see anything out of the ordinary in the South, North or West sky.

I saw a UFO on the 24th of November in Peoria, Illinois. So on this day, the 27th, I was looking at sky hoping to see one more UFO. I was in the car, back seat on a highway.

I was on Route 30 WEST going into Greensburg, Pennsylvania and while waiting at the intersection by Mountain View Inn, I noticed what appeared to be two birds "fighting" each other, or in some kind of squabble, over the highway up ahead. As I drove closer, red blinking lights drew my attention upwards to these "birds", which were spinning, rotating, and circling each other.

As I parked in my driveway facing East, I saw a lighted craft above the cloud cover over the moon, and I saw this light pretty close and it started to move away in a vector perpendicular to me. I didn't move until I bothered to grab my camera, it just kept moving away to the point where you see it in the picture. All the while this cone beam rotating haphazardly around the craft in no set pattern. Just weird.

Was outside doing my normal star gazing and out of nowhere, two bright lights appeared in the sky behind my house.. They appeared to be verticle and moving straight up in the sky. I yelled for my wife and she came out with the camera.

Purpose was to take pictures of the Embarcadero Center Christmas lighting. Camera set on timer. Tripod used. Second shot taken immediately (46 sec) after the "blue moon". The second image clearly shows no "blue moon."

This "blue moon" was not seen on the LED screen by either me or my companion. We set the timer and let the camera take the pictures.

After setting up my Astronomy Equipment and Focusing the Planetary camera on the upper left I started Started Imaging the Moon at 10mm zoom. The Camera produces the same as a 10 mm eyepiece. Using a Celestron 8xi Telescope with Celestron nextimager planetary camera.

I was standing outside on the balcony at my daughters apartment building. When i looked up at the moon. Then I looked underneath the moon. I noticed a circular shape with lights around the underside of the object. They did not appear to be flashing. The object was stationary in the sky.

I was traveling North on Noland Road in Independence when I saw a flying object near Noland Road and 23rd Street flying in a Southwest direction. It was a silvery white shiny color with a dark color nose and flying at a 45 degree angle down, but with the nose even with the craft, not nose-down. No wings or tail. It was an oval or cigar shape. There was no sound.

I will begin by saying that this is not an unordinary event as we see these lights every once in a while outside in our yard. We live way out in the country 8 miles out from a town so at night it is quite easy to see anything in the night sky.

We never have reported these sightings as a lot of people do around here. We live 8 miles from Stephenville (Texas) and 10 or so miles from Dublin.

Above Egham/Runnymede Hills, Berkshire - a bright orange orb appeared and stayed in one place for a minute, then vanished. A few moments later it reappered further along, then again vanished. Then two bright orbs appeared above each other, and then vanished. About a minute later in the previous spot 3 appeared in a triangle formation, again not moving but just sitting above the hill. This continued for a little while longer then stopped.

I was standing on a cove on the beach with four friends next to a cliff. We were watching the sunset. The sun had just dipped down under the horizon when we saw in the same western direction a unwavering reddish light in the distance heading in a linear path almost towards us. We all thought it to be an airplane when we first saw it, but the closer it got the more we all agreed that we didn't know what it was.

My name is JOE. I live in the hills above Universal City/Studio City and North Hollywood/Burbank California. Last evening, at 10:20 PM, I was out on my back deck, taking some windchimes down as a result of the Santa Ana winds. Something caught my eye coming from the north valley. I looked up and saw a HUGE TRIANGULAR SHAPED CRAFT with 3 bright brilliant turquoise/milky greenish lights on each end.

It was the day of the Leonid Meteor Shower. I was out with my wife in the middle of a playground around 4 - 5:00 AM star gazing and watching out for meteors. There were other star gazers too.

I was looking at a particular star formation/constellation when I noticed one of the 'stars' moving. It was really far off, like a dim star, so it was difficult to point out to my wife. It kept moving in a straight line from west to east across the sky. I was excited because I thought it was a UFO! My wife completely believes in UFOs but she reasoned that it might have been a satellite as they are sometimes visible to the naked eye. I was somewhat convinced.

I am 26 years old and have never seen anything in the sky like this before. I was completely sober, with no drugs or alcohol in my system at all. I seek no fame from this event, the only thing I ask is to please be told if anyone else reports anything similar to this event around my area, so I know I'm not crazy...

A nightime display of UFOs causes an exciting shared viewing experience from a local neighbourhood.

On November 6 at approximately 5:30 PM my son David and I went out of house to observe the aircraft that were flying over creating all the noise. We saw about 20 fighters jets bussing the skies of our town. This has never happened in the four years we have live here. it was quite scary, because the jets looked like a bunch of angry bees!

The event occurred on Tuesday November 17, 2009 at exactly 6:01 PM in the New Kensington, Pennsylvania area. I was in New Kensington at the bottom of Coxcomb Hill. I was driving to pick up dinner when I noticed an extremely bright light in the distance hovering or moving extremely slow. I proceeded to try and move closer to the object and determine its location and what it was since I had never seen such a bright object in the sky.

I was looking up at the sky while smoking a cigarette and just as I turned around to go back inside - I saw a light in the sky going over my house. It made no sound and had no wings or otor blades. It was just a bright light.

I then grabbed my camera and shot 20 seconds of it before it went behind the trees. I estimate it to have been 1000 + feet up. It moved rather slow as it went over.

At about 6:40 PM I saw a triangular formation above Tucson. I was located near the corner of South Country Club and Winsett and I noticed the oddity as I was walking from my backdoor (faces East) to my car. I tend to look at the night sky often, because you never know what you might see..

I was riding my bike home and a neighbor of mine stopped me, yelling "Look!.There's something in the sky!"

I decided to stop. I gazed eastward toward the Sandia mountains and saw 2 white colored slow blinking lights going around in an eliptical shape.

Me and three friends were just hanging out near county road 640. We saw a giant triangular dark black object with lights on the points. It came from the south and passed to the east of us. It was bigger than a 10 story office building.

I was working out in the back yard when I noticed 5 bright lights in a group due east and about 5 degrees to the north. The lights were visible through a break in the tree line and as I looked closer I could see more off to both sides of the break. I could see at least 9 or 10 lights that appeared to be round and white with a slight bluish hue. They were not moving in a linear fashion as does the air traffic around here but most appeared to be motionless except for 2 or 3 that moved around the others.

I was coming from a client's house off of Strausser and turned south onto Frank Rd. I looked up and I saw what I first thought was an airplane (because we are close to Akron Canton Airport and I see many low flying air planes on that street). I usually hear a loud sound when it is a plane and I looked up and noticed I didn't see the usual red blinking light underneath the craft when it is an airplane. I kept looking at the craft and noticed it was not moving.

It was Sunday, November 8th, 2009 and I was walking up to the US Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington County, Virginia. I was approaching the memorial via the walkway leading up from the Southwest and looking up at the large flag on top of the statue. While examining the flag I noticed something dark in the sky just to the right of it. Shifting my attention to this new object, I saw a black shape like an upside down "L" hanging there in the sky. I stared at this object for several minutes wondering what the heck it could be, and as I watched the L-shape continued to bend at the joint until it was more of a wide V-shape. The object continued to change shape with the angle becoming more obtuse until it was nearly a straight line. Simultaneously it seemed to be drifing towards the Southeast, roughly following the path of the Potomac River below it.

I was at Brownwood state park near Brownwood Texas on the evening of November 9, 2009. Around 8:00 PM I observed 10 to 15 very bright lights suddenly lighting up very high in the sky.

The lights stayed lit for several seconds before fading out. They were slightly amber in color. They exhibited no signs of being a rocket-mounted or of having been launched or dropped. And they were extremely stable. A few lit up at the same time.

I was outside smoking a cig' and saw a very bright light in the north east sky. It was moving very fast, with no apparent airplane or helicopter lights. The light stayed very bright and moved horizontally towards the north. I'd estimated the distance at five miles or so but it could have been much further. Although my mind doesn't want to believe it was any farther because the further away this object was, would suggest the faster it was going; much faster than any planes can fly. The size of the object would've been very large as well.

I have seen a strange sphere object flying in the sky one morning when leaving work around 5 AM. Since then I have been watching the skies diligently and now know very well the difference between airplanes (small and large) and helicopters. By now I can tell by the light patterns what an object is.

Noticed 6 yellow / orange lights over Denver toward Lakewood area around 6 PM (just after dark) while driving home from work. I had just turned, facing west onto Hampden Avenue from Gun Club Road in my car, when I noticed 6 yellow / orange glowing lights as my car was crossing the Hampden / E470 bridge. Lights were at a distance across the metro area, in the direction of Lakewood. Their movement and appearance stuck me as highly unusual upon first sight.

There was a remarkable display in the skies above Calgary, Canada on the night of July 17, 2009. The video below captures the excitement of this event.

FIRST SIGHTING: Weather was warm and clear with a few thin high level clouds.

I was sitting on my deck in the back yard of our home this evening with my 6 year old daughter, Rebekah. I had finished mowing our yard and was enjoying the unusually warm evening (71 degrees). The sun had already set and it was getting dark. I would estimate the time to be approximately 6:00 PM. As I was looking up into the sky and noticed what I thought was a bright star. I told my daughter “look, there’s the first star tonight”. I told her this as she likes to make a wish on the first star of the evening. However, as I was looking at the “star”, I noticed something odd; it began to move in an “S” shaped flight path within a very short distance – less than one mile (estimated). Its movement was to the North and the speed of it was much faster than a standard airplane. It quickly faded out of sight. I waited for another few minutes to see if it would reappear, but it did not. I then informed my daughter to go get her mother (my wife) who was inside the house at the time of the sighting.

Three friends and I were doing an ATV ride in the mountains of Cordoba, Argentina. It has been agreed by most specialists that there has been numerous amounts of UFO activity. We didn't see the actual object but captured it in our picture. There was no other picture that has any mistake or problem. The camera is a perfect functioning SONY and never had a picture with any kind of light trouble. What do you think?

While smoking outside, I like to 'study' the sky and look for any high altitude air traffic and/or anomolies such as space junk re-entering the atmosphere, meteors, and watch for satellites passing as well.

On this one night, I observed what appeared to be a long cylindrically shaped object on a west to east trajectory at very high altitude. It was travelling at a very high rate of speed and totally silent. The object had a 'soft blue' 'non-flashing' light at each end of it's 'fuselage'. This object went from the west horizon to the east horizon in less than two minutes.

It was 9 o'clock and I just left my girlfriend's house. She lives in Moreno Beach. As I was driving down Moreno Beach and was looking straight ahead when this bright yellow and orange sphere caught my attention.

There was a truck ahead of me so I thought this person was just working on a nearby electricity pole. I also found it odd that this object was slowly ascending into the sky, going higher and higher.

It was around 11:30 PM on September 26 2009 and my friend and went out to the front to have a smoke. My friends house sits on a hill so we can clearly see downtown from where we were. We walked down the street a little bit to light the cigarrtte because we didn't want mom to know we were smoking.

I looked up on this clear night sky and very clearly we could both see 5 fireball sphere shaped objects just dancing in up there. They were trailing each other; staying in a curvy line moving all around the sky. Suddenly one of the fireballs' light just cut off which made it only 4 of them, then another cut out, and then another. They all cut off one by one until they were all gone.
