In 1996 a film production company, Rocket Pictures, received a strange phone call.
The anonymous caller said he was recently employed at the S-4 Laboratory, a Top Secret Laboratory within Area 51.
And he claimed to be in possession of a highly sensitieve piece of video footage.
The footage is now known as the "Alien Interview Video". The anonymous man is known as ... "Victor".
The above video clip is a segment from the 1997 documentary, "Area 51: The Alien Interview". This film was the vehicle in which Victor chose to release his video to the public. Indeed, it was on that first phonecall that Victor offered to sell Rocket Pictures his alleged alien interview footage.
And let me say, I could have demanded significantly more money than I did - if I had been willing to compromise my anonymity. There have been other whistle blowers who jumped at the chance to become celebrities. Which I think casts more doubt on their motives than some people may be casting on mine.
